There are notes of graphite, fairly ripe wild blackcurrant and more slightly black cherry associated with fine hints of small dried red fruits, fine hints of incense, licorice as well as a very discreet hint of spices and a subtle hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity and offers a tangy structure, precision, a certain juiciness, tension as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackcurrant, black plum and more slightly of small rather small ripe black wild fruits associated with touches of graphite, lilac, tobacco, subtle hints of black pepper as well as a discreet hint of truffle and cocoa. Tannins are precise, fine and racy.
