It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, ripe strawberry and more lightly of fleshy / crushed cherry associated with touches of spice as well as a subtle hint of lilac and pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced, finely tight and offers juiciness, freshness, a nice juiciness of the fruit, a fine mineral structure as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / tangy raspberry, juicy / tangy cherry and more slightly juicy / pulpy blackberry associated with touches of almonds, toast and a very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut (on the aftertaste). The tannins are finely marked and discreetly tight.
