The nose is elegant, racy and offers a certain delicacy in its power. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of rose, rosewood and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of cassis, crushed strawberry as well as slight hints of nutmeg, a subtle hint of camphor and a very discreet hint of dry blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced and offers silkiness, a pulpy side, a nice pulpy / juicy fruit, a beautiful acidulous frame, a nice guideline, energy as well as verticality. Beautiful brightness and purity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy red cherry, pulpy/juicy redcurrants and small notes of rose petal / rosewood associated with small touches of crushed cassis, crunchy Quetsche plum as well as hints of liquorice, nutmeg, a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco and a very discreet hint of flowers/varietal (in the background). Good length.
