The nose is elegant and offers power, deepness but all in delicacy, subtlety, intensity (in precision) as well as a beautiful and powerful / fin grain. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of bright cassis, boysenberry and small notes of ripe plum associated with delicate touches of cuben pepper, strawberry as well as hints of violet, racy minerality, a discreet hint of spices, rose and a subtle hint of saffron (for its flowery side). The palate is fruity, elegant and offers minerality, freshness, a certain fat, matter, a certain richness (but with a beautiful balance/a fine aerial side), volume, delicacy as well as subtlety. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh raspberry, fresh/fleshy cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright Quetsche plum, cornflowers, star anise as well as slight hints of liquorice, lilac, of chocolate, a discreet hint of cardamom, an imperceptible hint of Madagascar pepper and vanilla. Tannins are elegant, precise, racy and subtle. Congratulations !
