The nose is fruity and offers a small controlled richness, a small concentration, deepness and a fine power. It reveals notes of black mulberry, bright quetsche plum and small notes of zan associated with touches of violet, small bright black berries, cherry as well as fine hints of cardamom, racy minerality, a discreet hint of coffee and an imperceptible hint of local biotop/sense of place. The mouth is nicely fresh, juicy and offers brightness, precision, delicacy, a small concentration, deepness and a discreet hint of good bitterness which supports the mouth. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, small black berries and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright black plum, crunchy strawberry as well as slight hints of zan, sweet blond tobacco, cardamom, a subtle hint of tonka bean, toasted almond and an imperceptible saline hint (in the background). Tannins are precise, elegant and suave.
