The nose is elegant, discreetly tight, racy and offers a certain richness, elegance, a small « darkness » as well as a small deepness. It reveals notes of bright purple plum, violet and small notes of cherry associated with touches of crushed wild strawberries as well as hints of lily, nutmeg, a discreet hint of pepper and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, gourmandize, suavity, a small fat, a nice pulpy/brightness of the fruit, a fine straightness, tension as well as a beautiful work of bitterness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black mulberry, bright purple plum and small notes of crushed cherry associated with touches of crushed/tangy red currant as well as hints of tonka bean, nutmeg, violet as well as fine grilled hints and pepper. A small powdery side on the finish. Tannins are precise, powdery and offer a fine chewiness. Good length.
