Duca di Salaparuta – Irmana 2020, Nero d’Avola – Sicilia IGT

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of small red berries/redcurrants, small fresh flowers and small notes of crunchy small fruits associated with a hint of lilac, a subtle hint of sense of place. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, a good definition, a small fat and a fine straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, blackberry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of violet, cornflowers, slight hints of chocolate and hazelnut. Tannins are well managed.
