CVA – Centuno 2018, Nero D’Avola – Sicilia IGT

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a small concentration (but full of freshness). It reveals notes of pulpy raspberry, crushed cherry and small notes of cornflowers associated with a touch of liquorice, fine hints of caramelization and a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, pulpy/fresh/juicy fruit and a certain slightly tight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh cherry, raspberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of olive/olive as well as a fine hint of sage (in the background).
