The nose is aromatic and offers a certain power, a fine gourmandize. It reveals notes of liquorice, cassis and small toasted notes associated with touches of boysenberry, bigarreau cherry as well as hints of pepper and rosemary. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a juicy/tangy structure, a good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as a present/slightly marked tannic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cassis, small wild berries and small notes of pepper associated with touches of liquorice stick, nutmeg, a hint of pepper, thyme. A hint of caramelization on the finish and persistence. Tannins are structuring and well-built.
