The nose is fruity, a bit tight and offers a fine concentration. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of fresh cherry, pulpy blackberry and small notes of small ripe black berries associated with touches of ripe wild raspberry as well as hints of spices, lilac, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral frame and a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, raspberry and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of small crushed blue plums as well as hints of lilac, sage and slight hints of liquorice. Good length.
