The nose is flowery with a hint of spice, fruit, fine power and a nice grain. There are notes of pulpy wild blackberry, wild strawberry and a bit of plum, combined with hints of lily/peony and pepper, as well as hints of red berries and discreet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, a little freshness, energy, a mineral framework, good definition, a little tension as well as gourmandize, a certain delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and, more lightly, red berries combined with hints of violet as well as fine points of nutmeg, blond tobacco, a discreet hint of spice, toast and chocolate/mocha (in the background). Good length. The tannins are precise and finely firm.
