Colosi 2020, Nero D’Avola – Sicilia IGT

The nose is fruity and offers a certain brightness of the fruit, purity and a slightly tight richness. It reveals notes of pulpy/bright cherry, cherry blossoms and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of bright small fruits, rose, fresh sage and sweet blond tobacco. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, a beautiful definition, brightness/purity of the fruit, a fine tension and a small tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/tangy cherry, raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of cornflowers, liquorice, slight hints of sage and a discreet hint of fresh vanilla. Tannins are fine, fresh and supple.
