The nose is slightly tight and offers a fine concentration. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of flowers, local grove and small notes of pulpy blackberry associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, a hint of lily, a subtle hint of sage and hazelnut. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, roundness, fat, a certain richness, a small tension and a good balance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of red berries associated with touches of cornflowers, rose, local grove and fine hints of racy minerality and chocolate. Tannins are well managed. Good varietal bitterness on the finish/persistence.
