The nose is aromatic, all delicacy / freshness and offers complexity, a nice finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, raspberry and more slightly fleshy / tangy cherry associated with a touch of rose, red plum, discreet hints of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of cedar. The palate is fruity, all in precision / delicacy, and offers juiciness, suavity, a nice freshness / minerality, tension, a nice energy as well as a certain aromatic purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, raspberry and more slightly crushed red berries associated with touches of cornflowers, lilac, fine hints of nutmeg, discreet hints of sweet spices, cedar, almond and rose / rosewood. The tannins are finely mellow. Good length.
