Negretti Azienda Agricola –  Barolo DOCG 2017 Bricco Ambrogio, Roddi, Bricco Ambrogio

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of boysenberry, strawberry and more slightly pulpy berry fruit associated with touches of violet, cherry blossoms, discreet hints of liquorice, lilac and a subtle hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, good definition, a certain goumandize, a fine tension and a little fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed raspberry and more slightly pulpy red fruits associated with small touches of lilac, liquorice, discreet hints of chocolate and toast.
