The nose is fruity and offers a fine power, a certain precision, a fine straightness and a little concentration. It reveals notes of raspberry, blackberry and more slightly of fairly ripe red berries associated with a touch of cassis as well as fine hints of licorice stick, tobacco, a discreet hint of nutmeg, black tea. and an imperceptible hint of bay laurel. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, good definition and some tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, pulpy cherry and more slightly cassis associated with small touches of cornflowers, violet as well as fine hints of liquorice, chocolate and a discreet hint of tobacco. The tannins are racy.
