Mauro Marengo – Barolo DOCG 2017 Ravera, Novello

The nose is fruity, racy. It reveals notes of ripe strawberries, raspberries and more slightly of small fresh plums associated with fine touches of violet as well as fine hints of liquorice and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers a pulpy / juicy fruit, a fine tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, small red berries and more slightly violet associated with small touches of rose, liquorice, a discreet hint of zan as well as a subtle hint of tobacco. The tannins are precise. A fine chew and a little flavor on the end of the mouth / persistence.
