The nose is fruity and offers a fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of red berries, cherries and slightly pepper associated with small touches of bay leaf, fine hints of spices, plum blossoms and a very discreet hint of bay leaf (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, dynamism, a nice tangy frame and a nice definition of juicy / tangy / ripe fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy raspberry, pulpy cherry and more slightly violet associated with touches of small red berries as well as hints of plum blossoms, bigarreau cherry, with fine hints of tobacco and hazelnut. The tannins are well-built, finely firm and elegant.
