Podere Ruggeri Corsini – Barolo DOCG 2017 Bussia, Monforte d’Alba

Podere Ruggeri Corsini – Barolo DOCG 2017 Bussia, Monforte d’Alba

The nose is aromatic and offers a small complexity and a fine power / concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry and, more slightly, small fairly ripe red berries associated with touches of cornflowers, plum blossoms, liquorice and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, some minerality, roundness, fat, unctuosity (in finesse / balance) and a fine airy side in its richness / fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, fleshy strawberry and more slightly small red berries associated with touches of lilac, cornflowers, purple plum as well as hints of vanilla, sweet blond tobacco, a subtle hint of chocolate, rose and hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are well-built.
