Gigi Rosso – Barolo DOCG 2017 Bricco San Pietro, Monforte d’Alba

Gigi Rosso – Barolo DOCG 2017 Bricco San Pietro, Monforte d’Alba

On the nose we find notes of blackberry, blond tobacco and more slightly crushed berry fruit associated with small touches of crushed raspberry as well as hints of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and a discreet hint of oleander. The palate is fresh, mineral and offers a certain energy, a little fat, a fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and more slightly fleshy cherry associated with touches of cornflowers, lilac as well as fine hints of vanilla, hazelnut toast and a hint of liquorice.
