Ratti – Barolo DOCG 2017 Marcenasco, La Morra

On the nose is aromatic, precise and offers a certain gourmandize, finesse in its concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, luscious raspberry and more slightly of bright little cherry associated with touches of cornflowers, lily as well as a hint of blueberries and licorice. On the palate is fresh, fruity, mineral and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, a certain gourmandize. The wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, raspberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of cornflowers, nutmeg as well as fine hints of hazelnut, nutmeg, toast, with a subtle hint of tonka bean, licorice and black tea. Good length. A fine chew on the finish /
