Enzo Boglietti – Barolo DOCG 2017 Fossati, La Morra

On the nose it is fruity and offers a little concentration, elegance and some power. It reveals notes of luscious bigarreau cherry, ripe boysen blackberry and more slightly ripe wild red berries associated with a touch of red plum, lily, violet, with a discreet hint of bay laurel / gray pepper. On the palate is fruity and offers suavity, freshness, minerality as well as a mineral frame. The wine expresses notes of juicy / luscious blackberry, raspberry and more lightly bright plum plum associated with touches of lilac, cornflower as well as fine hints of local grove / bay leaf and licorice. The tannins are precise and finely firm. Good length.
