On the nose it is fruity, all in finesse and offers a little restraint and a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of bright cherry, boysenberry and more slightly pulpy cassis associated with touches of violet, lilac as well as fine hints of pepper and a discreet hint of nutmeg. On the palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a little tension, roundness, suavity, a certain generosity. The wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, violet, cornflower and more slightly plum associated with touches of bay leaf, tobacco, a discreet hint of nutmeg, vanilla (in the background) and spices. Good length. The tannins are very discreetly dry. A subtle hint of toast and chocolate on the finish.
