On the nose it is elegant, racy and offers a small varietal side and nicely brought up. It reveals notes of ripe cherry, wild raspberry and slightly red plum associated with small touches of fleshy berries as well as fine hints of cornflowers, nutmeg, with fine hints of zan and spices. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, acidity as well as a certain gourmandize. The wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, bigarreau cherry and more slightly of bright red plum associated with touches of small red berries as well as fine hints of cornflowers, lily, with fine hints of nutmeg , cardamom, a very discreet hint of tobacco (in the background). The tannins offer a little firmness. A fine touch of varietal on the finish / persistence. A discreet hint of roasting and toasted almond on the aftertaste.
