Giuseppe Cortese – Barbaresco DOCG 2018

The nose offers a small complexity as well as a small aromatic side. It reveals notes of bright cherry, pulpy blackberry and more lightly of bright blueberry associated with small touches of strawberry as well as hints of liquorice, nutmeg and a discreet hint of rosemary. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a nice definition, gourmandize, a certain generosity, volume as well as a certain little straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, violet and more slightly bright red berries associated with touches of lilac, cornflowers, blueberry, hints of cherry blossoms, laurel as well as a discreet hint of liquorice and berry pepper. Good length. A wine full of delicacy and precision / finesse
