The nose is aromatic and offers power, a nice finesse of the grain, a certain depth as well as a stretched and discreetly tight side. It reveals notes of boysenberry, cassis and more lightly small wild red fruits associated with hints of pepper, a subtle hint of dried tobacco, spices and a discreet hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and offers juiciness, suavity, a tangy frame, a discreet tight side, tension as well as a finely marked and tight tannic frame. This wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with a touch of cornflower as well as fine hints of crushed strawberry and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. Tannins are precise and finely tight. Presence of a subtle hint of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of truffle in the background.
