On the nose it offers subtle power, a nice intensity with finesse, depth, a nice fine grain, complexity as well as a delicate powdery side. There are notes of ripe boysenberry, wild raspberry and small black fruits associated with tangy plums, fine hints of white pepper, small flowers, saffron, a discreet hint of camphor and tonka bean. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a tangy frame, minerality, a good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as sapidity. This wine expresses notes of juicy / tangy blackberry, ripe raspberry, and slightly tangy small red plum associated with strawberry, racy minerality, tonka bean, nutmeg as well as discreet hints of hazelnut, saffron and a subtle hint of vanilla. Tannins are elegant, delicate, supple and structuring at the same time. Pretty sapidity and gourmandize. A very beautiful sapidity and gourmandize and suave at the end of the palate. A beautiful youth.
