The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fresh / juicy frame, tension, freshness, a nice racy minerality, a fine texture, a little smoothness (finely tight) as well as a nice expression of the terroir. This wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, pulpy / juicy blackberry and more slightly pulpy cassis associated with touches of crushed raspberry, crushed bilberry, hints of cornflower, licorice, caramelization as well as a Bourbon vanilla, chocolate and toasted almond breast.
