Château Gaby 2019 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a certain controlled power, a little intensity as well as a little depth. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, creamy cassis and more slightly of fresh / fleshy strawberry associated with touches of violet, saline minerality as well as fine hints of colas, zan, fresh blond tobacco and a hint of chocolate. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fresh / juicy frame, tension, freshness, a nice racy minerality, a fine texture, a little smoothness (finely tight) as well as a nice expression of the terroir. This wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, pulpy / juicy blackberry and more slightly pulpy cassis associated with touches of crushed raspberry, crushed bilberry, hints of cornflower, licorice, caramelization as well as a Bourbon vanilla, chocolate and toasted almond breast.
