Ferro Carlo – La Corrazziera 2017, Agliano Terme – Nizza DOCG

On the nose it is aromatic and offers power. There are notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, fig and more slightly dried cherry associated with touches of fairly ripe red berries as well as hints of caramelization, blond tobacco, a discreet hint of hazelnut, under -wood and nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, richness, a certain minerality, a fine tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cassis, crushed black berries and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of fig, crushed berries as well as fine hints of chocolate, toast and a hint of toast (on the background). Good length. A fine chewiness on the finish.
