Château de La Huste 2019 – Fronsac

On the nose it is fruity and offers gourmandize, a small concentration, a nice fruit, a fine texture as well as elegance. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with fine touches of cornflower, rose as well as hints of racy minerality and sweet spices. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, a fresh / mineral frame, gourmandize, roundness as well as a little fattiness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy raspberry and more slightly fleshy / fresh plum associated with touches of cornflower, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of hazelnut and caramelization. Presence of a subtle hint of fresh hazelnut on the finish. Good length.
