Château Doisy-Védrines 2019 – Sauternes, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers a small chiseled side as well as a fine minerality. It reveals notes of vine peach, bright apple and small notes of pineapple in syrup associated with fine touches of crystallized lemon as well as fine hints of lemon blossom, acacia and a very discreet almost candied pear hint. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a racy grain (nice finesse of the grain), a fine aerial side as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy apple, bright peach and small notes of crystallized lemon associated with a touch of crunchy pineapple, lychee, fine hints of apricot as well as a subtle hint of racy minerality and zest / lemon caviar (in the background).
