The nose is fruity and offers intensity as well as some concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, black cherry and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of violet, raspberry, a hint of pepper, dry local garrigue as well as a very discreet hint of sage and chocolate (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers juiciness, a beautiful acidulous frame, tension, energy, racy minerality, concentration as well as a certain small intensity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy cassis, pulpy black berries and small notes of fleshy / juicy raspberry associated with a touch of redcurrants, violet as well as a fine hint of sour cherry, sage, sense of the place (local biotop), a subtle hint of toasted almond, chocolate and a discreet almost caramelized hint. A subtle saline / sapid hint on the finish / persistence. Tannins are precise and well-built. Good length. Persistence with hints of dark chocolate and toasted hints.
