The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, a little mastered power, finesse as well as a little stretched side. It reveals notes of crushed blueberry, fleshy wild cassis and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with touches of violet, flowers of thyme, fine hints of scrubland, zan, sweet spices as well as a hint of black pepper, toast and an imperceptible hint of rosemary. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers juiciness, a little creaminess, freshness, good definition as well as some richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of crushed currants, hints of blond tobacco, Cuben pepper, zan as well as fine hints of ‘black olive, rosemary, with a subtle hint of cardamom and dried / crushed almond. Tannins are structuring, slightly mellow and elegant. Good length.
