The nose is aromatic, very finely tight, finely flowery and offers fruit. It reveals notes of blueberry, violet and more slightly powdery nutmeg associated with small touches of lily as well as hints of crushed raspberry, fresh local grove and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, freshness, bite, a little fat, a certain straightness as well as a very nice tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy cassis, blackberry and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of nutmeg, toasted, toasted hazelnut as well as fine hints of mocha and cardamom. Tannins are precise, discreetly tight and offer a certain mellowness. Good length. Presence of a fine hint of flowers, arbutus and chocolate in the background.
