The nose is fruity, velvety, flowery and offers a certain complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, crushed blueberry and more slightly of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of lilac, violet fig as well as hints of cardamom, sweet spices and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, creaminess, good definition, a certain gourmandize, elegance, freshness as well as a stretched and very well-balanced side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blueberry, bright Bigarreau cherry and more slightly juicy strawberry associated with fig, black olive, caramelization as well as hints of toast, lilac and a subtle hint of a sense of place. Good length. Hints of powdery chocolate on the persistence.
