The nose is spicy and offers concentration as well as power. It reveals notes of blackberry, green olive and slightly crunchy berry fruits associated with local grove as well as fine chalk / flint and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, a fine tangy frame, minerality, a certain roundness as well as a present tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, small crunchy redcurrants, bay laurel associated with scrubland, racy minerality, small red fruits as well as hints of tonka bean, with a subtle cardamom and chalk / flint. Tannins are well developed. The finish is very finely tight.
