Vieux Château Gaubert 2020 – Graves

The nose is racy, marked on the Cabernet Sauvignon and offers power. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, violet, small notes of cassis associated with touches of small red berries, lilac, a racy minerality, discreet hints of liquorice, nutmeg and toasted. The palate is fruity and offers creaminess, a small freshness, a good structure and a small racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, creamy blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of fleshy/pulpy cherry, violet, lily as well as hints of racy minerality, grey pepper, discreet hints of nutmeg, vanilla essence, toasted and cocoa. Tannins are precise and offer a fine firmness and gourmandize. A small power in the finish.
