Clos Carmelet 2020 – Cadillac Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

The nose offers gourmandize, freshness, a certain richness (full of balance) and a small unctuosity. It reveals notes of crushed Boysen berry, bright cassis, small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of small crushed red fruits, violet, Badiane, discreet hints of caramelization and cardamom. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a small tension, precision, a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy raspberry, small notes of bright cassis associated with touches of camphor, mocha as well as small pulpy fruits, fine hints of vanilla, coffee, black tea and tobacco. Good length. Tannins are discreetly marked. A fine softness in the finish/persistence.
