La lichette de Louis 2020 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

The nose is fruity and offers a good definition of the fruit as well as a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, pulpy cherry/griotte, small notes of violet associated with touches of nutmeg, peony, cardamom and discreet hints of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a small freshness, a fine gourmandize as well as a small pulpiness and a beautiful flesh of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cherry, small notes of fresh/juicy blueberry associated with touches of small crushed red berries as well as hints of lily, violet, liquorice, discreet hints of nutmeg and caramelization. Tannins are precise and finely powdered.
