Château de Birazel – Romane 2020 – Bordeaux Blanc

On the nose, fresh, racy and offers a fine texture. It reveals notes of nectarine, pear and hints of almond associated with small touches of minerality, and discrete touches of zest. On the palate, fruity and offers some minerality, freshness, a certain gourmandise, smoothness and roundness, a certain fleshiness, good definition and a fine acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of lychee, kumquat and hints of quince associated with touches of yellow peach as well as small hints of almond, fine hints of toastiness with a discreet almost honeyed touch.
