Château Belgrave 2020 – Haut-Médoc, Grand Cru Classé 

The nose is fresh and offers a certain concentration as well as a small power, a fine grain and a certain controlled richness. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, raspberry, small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of violet, fresh bright plum as well as a hint of racy minerality, toasted almond and a discreet hint of cardamom. The mouth is fruity, fresh, racy and offers juiciness, a good definition, a nice finesse of the grain, delicacy, a certain suavity, dynamism and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, small fresh/pulpy red berries, small notes of fresh raspberry associated with touches of lily, toasted as well as hints of camphor, fine hints of sweet spices, a discreet hint of caramelization and chocolate.
