Aromes de Pavie 2020 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a certain controlled power, a small deepness as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of  pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry, small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of violet, nutmeg, fine hints of hazelnut and a discreet hint of tabaco and pepper. the mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a certain finesse, a certain straightness (all in control), a nice sapidity, a small gourmandize as well as a fine creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, creamy cassis, small notes of fresh raspberry associated with touches of violet, nutmeg, zan as well as a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of vanilla. the tannins offer a small softness. Good length and persistence. Presence of a nice softness and a small chew on the finish.
