Clos Lunelles 2020 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

The nose is fresh, elegant and offers a nice aromatic as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of bright blueberry, griots, small notes of small crushed red berries associated with touches of liquorish, Badiane, limestone minerality (nearly saline) as well as fine hints of menthol. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, matter, an aerial side, an tangy frame, a small suavity, a fine acidulous frame, a nice freshness, gourmandize as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis, small notes of bright blueberry associated with touches of juicy/fresh strawberry, hints of violet, lily, nearly saline minerality, fine hints of tonka bean/mocha, Badiane, tabaco as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper and nearly orange zests. The tannins are precis and offer a small firmness.
