On the nose fruity and it offers concentration, elegance, racy delicacy and controlled power. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, small wild red currants and slightly juicy cassis combined with hints of lily, cherry blossom, racy minerality (nicely gravelly), licorice stick, purple plum and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, nicely marked by its terroir and offers freshness, good definition, gourmandize, excellence, a certain juiciness, a nice pulpy/juicy/fresh fruit, a nice racy minerality, a nice fineness of grain, fat, roundness, an airy character in the balances as well as a little stretched side. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cherry and more lightly fresh/pulpy blackberry combined with hints of violet, cherry blossom, fresh/pulpy purple plum as well as hints of toast, tonka bean, racy minerality, fresh blond tobacco, a subtle hint of cardamom and an imperceptible hint of cinnamon (in the background). The tannins are precise, fine, racy and relatively mellow. Good length. Fine chew on the finish/persistence.
