On the nose it is fruity, offers intensity, fine/tight grain and energy. Notes of pulpy boysenberry, pulpy black currant and more lightly violet combined with hints of gray pepper, sweet spice, small crushed red currants and a subtle hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, gourmand, some tension as well as fat, generosity, precision and a very fine straightness. On the palate displaying juicy/pulpy cassis, boysenberry and more lightly crushed raspberry notes combined with a touch of plum, lily, licorice, toasted hazelnut and fine toasted/vanilla points. The tannins are mellow and a fine straightness. Good length. Sapidity and fine power on the finish/persistence/aftertaste.
