Château Puy-Galland 2020 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux 

On the nose it is fruity and it offers power, concentration and freshness. It reveals the notes of ripe cassis, pulpy/ripe purple plum and violet associated with fleshy raspberry, fresh blueberry as well as hints of nutmeg, tonka beans, discreet hints of vanilla and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background). On the mouth it is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, suavity, a little straightness, fat and freshness. The wine express the notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright raspberry and violet associated with hints of nutmeg, almond, fresh blond tobacco as well as fine hint of fresh/varietal flowers and a discreet hint of sweet spices (in the background). Good length.
