Château Richelieu 2020 – Fronsac

On the nose it is fruity it offers freshness, concentration, a certain power and profoundness. It reveals the notes of pulpy cassis, morello cherry and bright small black fruits associated with fresh raspberry, star anise, cornflower, discreet hint of toasted almond and a very discreet touch of caramelization.On the mouth it is fruity and it offers juiciness, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, a tangy frame and a beautiful freshness. The wine express juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and bright/fresh small black currants associated with lily, violet, cardamom, tonka beans and hint of vanilla. Good length. The tannins are finely mellow. A fine chew on the finish.
