On the nose it is fruity, aromatic, offers a certain level of power and concentration. It reveals the notes of cassis, morello cherry and more slightly strawberry associated with touches of violet, bright small blue fruits as well as fine hints of licorice, discreet hints of caramelized almond and a subtle touch of black tea. On the mouth it is fruity and offers minerality, concentration, good definition and freshness. The wine express notes of morello cherry, pulpy cassis and more lightly violet combined with hints of crushed small black fruits, creamy raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean/chocolate and fine toasted notes. The tannins are quite mellow. Good length.
