On the nose, fresh, quite aromatic, finely tight and offering a good definition. Notes of fresh blackberry, fleshy cassis and cornflower and violet associated with fine hints of star anise/ licorice, discreet varietal hints and a very discreet hint of pepper. On the mouth it is fruity, finely tight and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, energy and tension. The wine express pulpy/juicy blackberry, ripe cassis and more slightly raspberry notes combined with hints of cherry, iris/lily as well as fine cardamom and a hint of mocha (in the background). The tannins are precise and offer a little straightness as well as a fine firmness.
