On the nose it is fresh, offering gourmandize, pulpiness and a nice preserved fruit. Notes of pulpy blackberry, raspberry and more slightly fleshy cherry associated with touches of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and fine hints of sweet tobacco. On the mouth it is fruity, mineral, balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, a finely tightened structure. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly bright/fresh currants combined with hints of toast, cardamom, tonka beans, toasted almond. Good length. The tannins are finely mellow. Discreet varietal hints on the finish.
